Teacher setup
- Join the video room using your existing OLP account. No separate teacher sign-in is needed.
- In the meeting’s Security options, enable the lobby. Admit only learners you recognise.
- Tick the confirmation below, then open student joining.
OLP checks lesson access and gives the lesson’s teacher moderator permissions. Keep the lobby enabled and admit your learners. If ending is unsupported, end the meeting inside Jitsi.

Join the video to manage groups.
Hold Ctrl (Windows) or Command (Mac) to select several learners. On a phone, tap the learner selector. Only participants who have joined the video appear here.
You can supervise one video room at a time. The shared whiteboard below remains visible to the whole class. These controls work with the embedded video; for a separate video tab, use its Participants panel.

Drawings sync when you lift your pen. This board is saved for the lesson. Teachers can clear it or enable student writing.
Allow camera and microphone access when prompted. Use headphones to avoid echo. If the embedded video fails, use “Open video in a new tab”.
